  • Co-Founder & Principal

    Mr. Paris is a Co-Founder and Principal of Avela, bringing deep experience across acquisitions, capital markets, and portfolio management. Prior to Avela, he was on the Investments team at Innovo Property Group, where he supported the firm’s equity and debt investment activities within a vertically integrated platform. He previously served as a Principal at DeCoene Holdings, where he managed a real estate portfolio on behalf of ultra-high-net-worth investors, overseeing: sourcing, due diligence, execution, and asset management. Earlier in his career, he held the position of Managing Director at Reva Capital, a New York-based investment banking firm.

    Mr. Paris holds a B.A. in Political Economy from Georgetown University, where he was Captain of the Varsity Tennis Team.

    Ms. Chin is a Co-Founder and Principal of Avela, where she applies a combined background in private equity and real estate credit to drive the firm’s investment strategy. Prior to Avela, she was a Vice President at Artemis Real Estate Partners, supporting acquisitions and asset management across multiple property types alongside local operating partners. She previously held investment roles at The Praedium Group and Sorin Capital Management, with a focus on acquisitions, mezzanine debt, and high-yield real estate credit. Her experience across both equity and structured debt informs Avela’s downside protection and capital structuring discipline.

    Ms. Chin earned her degree in Political Economy from Princeton University.
